Tales in the Tent

Storyteller Lara McClure joined us for an engaging and interactive performance based on short stories by the writer and former Provost of King’s, MR James.

Lara McClure (KC 1992) has long been compelling audiences with her literary-inspired storytelling at festivals, pubs and theatres across the country. Her 2022 show Barry Lyndon: Lover, Liar, Turncoat – taking its cue from the eponymous hero of Thackeray’s novel – was performed at venues including York Theatre Royal and London’s Crick Crack Club.
