About the speakers:
Judith Weir CBE (KC 1973) is a renowned composer, with a huge body of work ranging from grand operas to piano concertos and songs for children; and including two specially commissioned carols for the King’s Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols. Appointed by the Queen in 2014, she is now the first female Master of the King’s Music
Richard Causton is the Director of Studies in Music at King’s. He writes and lectures on Italian contemporary music and regularly broadcasts for Italian radio.
